Your accommodation is private and in a prime location, close to your optional course. A member of our team will be available 24/7 if you need anything.

Medical Elective
If you choose to stay with KIVOLEX in Barbados as part of your Medical Elective Program, you will gain unique life and professional experience. You will work in large hospitals and smaller clinics to gain a thorough understanding of the local healthcare system. You will collaborate with local doctors and assist them in prescribing medications. You may encounter diseases you haven’t encountered before, which will provide you with important knowledge for your future career. Typically, you’ll work in the morning and rest in the afternoon, giving you time to admire this beautiful place, perhaps even go diving or join one of our organized excursions
Nursing Electives
Barbados is an excellent location for KIVOLEX’s Nursing Electives program, offering a good balance between work and play. You’ll gain a diverse experience as we take you to both large hospitals and smaller clinics. This will give you the opportunity to learn about different types of healthcare and the methods used by doctors and nurses. You’ll likely be able to assist them and, in some cases, work directly with them. The local doctors are very friendly, so working in a new environment will be a pleasure. Take some time in the afternoon to explore your new surroundings and participate in some of the excursions we’ve prepared for you.

Accommodation and Team
Our accommodation in Barbados is close to everything you might need, such as restaurants and shops, and the beach is also a short walk away. You won’t have to travel far to reach your accommodation. Our facilities are beautifully decorated, have spacious living rooms, and are very comfortable. We are available 24/7 if you need us.
Excursions and Tours
To make the most of your time with us and in your new home, we’ve prepared several tours for weekends and holidays.
